Offline play stores everything on your device and sends nothing to us. If you play online, our server keeps a small game account so matchmaking, friends, parties and match results work. We do not sell data, show ads, or use advertising or analytics SDKs, and the game does not ask for your name, email, contacts or location.
Your heroes' progression, settings and button layout are saved on your device. If you play online, a copy of your progress is kept on our server as your cloud save (below), and a short summary of it is shared with other players. If you sign in online, the session token the server issued is saved on your device too, so you stay signed in.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| A random account id, a generated display name (for example "BraveLion11") and a friend code | To identify your game account and let friends add you |
| Your Google Play Games player id, if you sign in with Play Games | To sign you in to the same game account on any device. We receive it from Google's Play Games service after you sign in. We never receive your Google password or email address, and we do not keep the short-lived Google access token used to check the sign-in |
| Purchase records: a billing id derived one-way from your Play Games player id (not your game account id); the product; Google Play's order number and purchase time; a one-way hash of Google's purchase token, plus the token itself encrypted only until Google confirms the purchase; the order's state, purchase intents, first-set discount use and withdrawal state; and when a bought item was first worn | To give you what you bought on any device, handle withdrawals and refunds, and stop one purchase being claimed twice |
| The name you choose, and reports you send about another player's name | Your name is shown to other players; reports are kept so offensive names can be removed |
| Your profile: the title you wear, the three titles in your trophy case, the hero you show off and what it wears, and your records (wins, Impossible bosses, titles earned) | So other players can see it when they open your profile; it holds only numbers and the game's own titles, never text you type |
| Friends and friend requests, party membership and party invites, and the players you blocked | So you can add friends and queue together, and so a player you blocked cannot send you requests or invites |
| Presence: whether you are in the menus, searching or in a match, the current match id, and when you were last seen | So friends see whether you can play |
| Your cloud save: a copy of your game's save file (progression, unlocks, the titles, skins, portraits and frames you earned, what you wear, your Battle Log of recent online games, your settings) and when it last changed | So signing in to the same account on a new device brings your progress back. Only you can read it; it is never shown to other players, and it is deleted with your account |
| Your selected hero, the skins and effects it wears, and a summary of its progress (its rank, Gauntlet wins, your Raid rank and the raid bosses you have beaten on Impossible), sent while you are online | So your party, your friends and the players in your matches see your hero as you dressed it, and its badge, in the lobby and in matches |
| Match records: the mode, the seat, team and hero you played, the outcome you and the other players reported, and a hidden casual rating with win and loss counts | To settle results and to make fair matches. The rating is never shown to anyone |
| Your IP address, used briefly for abuse limits (for example, how many sign-ins come from one address in an hour) | To protect the service. Only a one-way hash of the address is stored, and it is deleted within 48 hours |
During a match, the players' devices exchange game input and game state through our relay. One player's device runs the match; it receives the other players' game commands (movement and ability presses) and nothing else. The relay forwards these messages and does not store them.
The game has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own and sends no gameplay telemetry to us. The game is built with the Unity engine; Google Play may collect crash and performance data under your device and Google account settings, which Binary Brewery can see in aggregate in the Google Play Console.
Nobody, except the service providers that run the online features: Cloudflare (which hosts our server and database) and Google (Play Games sign-in and Google Play billing, when you use them). Other players see your display name, your hero and your in-match state while you play with them, and your friends see your presence. A player you met in a match in the last 14 days can send you a friend request from their match history; you accept or decline it.
Your account stays until you delete it. Delete it at any time in the game under Settings → Online → Delete online account. That erases your account, display name, friend code, Play Games link, friends, friend requests, party membership, presence, rating, your match records and your cloud save from our server immediately. Abuse-limit hashes expire within 48 hours. If you cannot open the game, email binarybrewery.dev@gmail.com with your friend code and we will delete the account within 30 days. See account deletion.
While your game account exists, we keep its purchase records so you keep what you bought. Deleting the game account keeps only pseudonymous billing evidence (orders, token hashes, purchase intents, discount use, withdrawal and first-wear state) for 5 years after that account's last purchase, as required for payment, supply and withdrawal records by Korean e-commerce law (전자상거래법 시행령 제6조), then deletes it in scheduled batches. If you never bought anything, the 5 years run from the latest purchase intent (or account closure if there was no intent). Token replay tombstones are deleted after 5 years. Signing in again with the same Play Games account before then brings your purchases back and reopens the billing account.
